“This exhibition is a selection of my work from the last twenty years. Even though the imagery and techniques are varied some reoccurring themes can be found. I’m always seeking new ways of expression, until recently I had not realised how related some of the images are. If there’s a common denominator it’s an awareness of containment and balance. Overall I choose to make pictures that illustrate a feeling of intense focus.
In today’s world I try to create windows where one’s eye can settle, and the mind can wander.”
