My name is Geoff Ellway and I am a keen amateur artist.

Since retiring a few years back, I decided to join the Port Lincoln Art Group to try and take my art to the next level. There are many talented people in the Art Group who readily impart their knowledge when asked. Anyone who wishes to pursue their art further would find the Art Group very welcoming.

In regard to subject matter, I love doing landscapes and seascapes.

I also like doing pictures of people and whatever other subject takes my fancy.

I started off drawing in pencil in the early days but mainly paint now. I like to diversify and use watercolour, acrylic and oil paints. Each medium has their own special attributes and I want to become proficient in all of them.
